At METS we take Health & Safety extremely seriously. All our employees are inducted in to the company and given a formal presentation on our Health & Safety system and Policy. Field Operatives and Engineers undergo formal Health & Safety training prior to being permitted to work at any facility or site.
The Health & Safety training is encompassed in a two day residential course at our offices and is formally recorded and assessed. The participants are given the METS consolidated Health & Safety manual for current and future reference. Our field based engineers are encouraged to ask pertinent questions on Health & Safety and refer to Senior Management if they have any questions or concerns. We encourage and instill an environment of communication.
METS also adopt the policy of “check first” whilst working in potential asbestos environments / building areas. We never assume that the “documentation / history of a building / infrastructure is the latest available, unless specifically accredited to a recent “Prime Contractor” survey.
The Health & Safety Policy and its implementation at METS, is constantly reviewed and evaluated and “Best in Industry Practices” adopted. All our people are taught from basics of how to “Risk Assess” a working scenario and environment. There are no compromises.
METS also understand that whilst partnering with other contractors, maybe “Prime Contractors”, that adoption of the host clients “headline” Health & Safety System may be required. METS can tailor its processes accordingly and can accommodate as you would expect.
